El Saler beach


El Saler is a district of the Valencia City, the beach is in the midst of the Albufera Natural Park and it is at eight kilometres from Valencia and El Saler is really a typical town of the region. Two are the delimiting areas for El Saler: La Creu and The Gola de Puchol.

This beach is five kilometres length and fifty meters width, its surface is basically of fine and golden sand. The prevailing dunes and pine forests protect the sand from the west winds. El Saler is the beach with more visitors in Valencia. This beach has been given the blue flag.

El Saler is also the town of fishermen and agri-men next to the beach; the region is widely known for its rich rice and gastronomy as a whole.

An ecological environment reigns here since the natural scenario is fully preserved and it is the ideal spot to practice all kinds of sports at the beach, also windsurf or kite surf or kite boarding, or fly surfing. One experiences a true balance between nature and fun in the surroundings. El Saler’s golden sands can be admired from the webcam installed at the Sport Coliseum known as Polideportivo.

Valencia’s City Hall has created a new nudist beach at El Saler, but its occupation level is low. It is located in front of Tower Five, last building from Sidi and heading north. It counts with signs, signals, showers, red cross surveillance, easy access for disabled persons, the beach counts with a limit of 800 metros (300 in one side and 500 towards the other side).


El Saler is a district with a complex of buildings and residential farms as well as a luxurious hotel very close to the shoreline. It is at 8 kilometres from the City of Valencia and it enjoys a great prestige since it is located inside a natural park. It counts with more than four kilometres of fine sand beach and crystal waters and it has been the main theme for the media during several occasions due to the visits of famous characters.

El Saler is the blond typical beach like all the Valencian beaches; the best thing here is winter since it has great spots for sailing, at only half an hour bus trip from Valencia’s downtown, El Saler is a great choice; it is widely visited during the summer.
