La Devesa beach
La Devesa beach reached the Blue flag of the European Union condition in 1993, and since then the Blue Flag has continuously been given throughout all its seasons.
The beach is nearly five kilometres of length, with fine and golden sand. Its greatest attraction is based on its extraordinary natural scenario since it is located at the very heart of the Albufera Natural Park, a rich ecosystem in which together with lagoons and inter-dunes depressions all kinds of vegetations mingle such as pines, palmitos (Chamaerops humilis L.), coscojas (Quercus coccifera), lentisco (Pistacia lentiscus) and madreselva (Lonicera japonica) giving shelter to several birds here.
In fact, La Devesa is an isolated beach, though with a variety of available services, it has a sport port with its nautical club known as The Perelló, which is at eight kilometres from the beach.
