Pinedo beach
Pinedo is the first of the southern beaches of Valencia province, a resort of fine golden sand, dunes, and calm waters. This beach has 1 260 meters length and 40 meters width, Pinedo's visits rate is average, it is an urban resort with gravel and sand. Pinedo has access for disable people. Pinedo is a municipal district of Valencia. It is located at the south of the new mouth of the Turia River. It is surrounded with vegetable gardens, rice plantations and the sea since it is located inside the Albufera Natural Park. Pinedo’s local economy has always been based on agriculture and fishing and during more recent times it has turned into a centre for second residences for the inhabitants of the city. Here you may find some of the last centennial barracks-huts and its beach count with dunes of golden sand together with a refurbished marine stroll made of golden sand. For those fond of nature, there is a nudist beach at the south of Pinedo city. This free zone goes from the famous 'Black House' to the old Plexi factory, this resort limits with El Saler beach in its south part and it is located within the protected space of the Albufera Natural Park. This is a long beach with 3 kilometres of length; it has a fine and golden sand with moderate waves and calm waters. The beach is surrounded with vegetable gardens; it is near the Nautical Royal Club Pinedo’s nudist beach is also near the Coll Vert Camping, it is a privileged place to watch the entrance and exit of ships from Valencia’s port. You may have access to this place by means of El Saler highway, through the exits found at the new bank of the Turia River.
